Mydriasert is an insoluble ophthalmic insert, gradually releasing two well-known active ingredients: phenylephrine and tropicamide. It is indicated in presurgical mydriasis.

Mydriasert can be administered at home by relatives or carers and will provide complete mydriasis on arrival for surgery therefore reducing waiting times.
